Privacy policy

Kadappuram Fish (“we”) runs kadappuram.in and the Kadappuram Fresh Android app. This policy explains what personal data we collect and why, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Phone number — to sign you in with a one-time code and to contact you about deliveries.
• Name and email — optional, for greetings and invoices.
• Delivery addresses and map location — only when you save an address or pin your location, so riders can find you.
• Orders and cart — what you bought, to fulfil, bill and let you reorder.
• Rider location — riders’ GPS while on a route, shown to the customer of an active delivery and to the shop. Kept for 7 days.
• Device push token — if you allow notifications in the app.

What we don’t do

We do not sell personal data, run third-party advertising, or track you across other websites. Server logs do not store IP addresses with your account.

Who sees it

Shop staff and the rider assigned to your order see your name, phone and address. Our hosting provider (Contabo, EU) stores the data. Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap; UPI payments happen in your own UPI app.

Your rights

You can see and edit your details under Account, and delete your account there at any time. Completed orders are retained for accounting for 8 years as required by law, without your name. Questions: 07994 264112 or the shop counter at Stadium Link Road, Kaloor.
